Storytelling, poems, recitals, short film, music, talks..

Thurs 26th, 1-4pm: Folktown Market marquee (Free, All ages)

Fri 27th, 8-10pm: upstairs in Madden's Bar (Free)

Sat 28th, 1-5pm: Bank Square marguee (Free, All ages)

Exploring stories from the life on the Farset river in the early days of the city when Bank St was known as Back-of-the-River.

Storytellers, poets and historians will take us on a journey down our rivers and lough to see how they have influenced lives
through time.

Storytellers Willie Drennan, Kathleen O'Sullivan and Billy Teare, musician Colin Reid, historians Dr Raymond O'Regan and Jake MacSiacais, alongside recitals of the works of Cahal Bradley and Cathal O'Byrne are just some of the people who will bring the stories of Folktown alive..! 1pm: Kathleen O'Sullivan & Billy Teare (All ages) storytelling session
2pm: Jake MacSiacais heritage talk

8-10PM: Storytelling session with Willie Drennan & Colin Reid and Kathleen O'Sullivan & Billy Teare

SATURDAY in Bank Square Marquee

1pm: Hidden Folktown tour with Dr Raymond O'Regan
2pm: Short film from our traditional skills workshops
2pm: Recitals of new old work about Farset River and our old city. Works by Cahal Bradley, Cathal O'Byrne among others
3pm: Wille Drennan and Colin Reid collaboration of storytelling and music
